The size and ease of using this sealer with the premade zipper bags is great. My only wish is that the motor were a little faster and that the valve on the bags didn’t allow liquid to pass through.

It's only as good as its bags (which are awful)

Everything about this system is incredible *in theory* but the bags perform so poorly it renders the whole system useless. The sealer itself works well, is compact, holds a charge, tucks into a drawer ... main negative is that the cord on the charger is so short, it really can only be plugged in at a kitchen counter, and the thing needs charging so rarely it's not a good use of a kitchen outlet or kitchen counterspace. However since the sealer can only be used with FoodSaver bags, which are very expensive and perform badly, it's moot. I've followed all the instructions over and over and the bags keep un-sealing within a few days.

No, I do not recommend this product.
