Q: Will this work on a hole in my expandable garden hose

A: I used this tape to repair several holes in my pond liner, the result of a fallen tree, and has not leaked after two weeks. This would work on a regular garden hose but I hesitate to recommend using it on a material that alternately expands and contracts.

Q: Will flex tape fix a tear in a car's black convertible roof.

A: Hello Joseph! Flex Tape has a variety of ways in which it can be used on your car. Although Flex Tape does work on canvas, it is quite porous, so you may need to help it along by heating up the Flex Tape with a hair dryer after you have applied it. This will help the adhesive to penetrate the spaces between the fabric. It is recommended allowing Flex Tape to bond for 24 hrs. before putting the canvas to use.
