The best!

Incredible. I use this for boats and cars. It's strong enough to do medium-heavy cutting of fiberglass oxidation on gel coat with a wool pad, and it's light and smooth for applying wax and sealant to clear coat with a soft foam pad. I also have the 3401, which is an amazing tool. But this is now my go-to. It's lighter, smoother, and has a good grip (unlike the bolt on handle that always collapses on the 3401).

Get it Right the first time

You weigh the cost of pro tools to discount store units. They can look so much alike and indeed some reviewers say if you're just a hobbiest go for the cheaper unit. I couldn't disagree more and this tool proofs my point. Sold a cheap unit to get this and the difference in use; so much less vibration, so quiet, easy to handle, makes the extra cost so worth it. A joy to use.
