LED Pumpkin Light

I have been using an incandescent light in my jack o' lanterns. Last year the heat generated in the enclosed space collapsed the pumpkin. I'm counting on this flickering LED light not radiating as much heat this year. This product as packaged could use a mini-instruction sheet on how to access the AA battery (not included) compartment. I almost returned it to CTC, not realizing it takes 45 seconds before the light and rotating prisms start up.

The concept is nice, with the rotating lamp, but I didn't find the light output to be very strong. It wasn't very visible in the dark.
