I have used this kind of clippers for many years. My dad was using them before I had a garden and he showed me how to use them and so I have used them ever since. Not ever a different kind. Just this one - only the BEST !!!

Might have been a good product but awful customer service

I did not get to use them. I had an old Swiss pair that I decided to have sharpened instead. I had bought these on sale. I didn't even open the packaging. I tried to return them (within 30 days) and the cashier opened them to have a look and said they were used and refused to give me a refund. She showed her colleague who agreed. They looked down on me like I was a dishonest excuse for a human being. Questioning why I hadn't returned sooner, blablabla. I felt so angry. I guess, as a consumer, we should be opening the packaging to inspect the product before we buy in case it is damaged??? This experience was VERY upsetting to me and made me feel small. I will never set foot in a Canadian Tire again.

A: Will easily cut a 1.5 inch green branch, about .75 inch dead brranch - that is diameter. Was a very good buy, was using it an hour ago!!!

A: Thank you for your inquiry. This Professional Bypass Pruner can be easily adjusted for tension by loosening the small screw on the side of the pruner, then turn the nut to the preferred setting and retighten the screw to hold your adjustment.
