Better than expected

It was a little cumbersome to assemble everything as the fan was hanging, lots of small pieces. Have the remote mounted next to the light switch, leaves the switch on and then uses the controller to turn the lights/fan on/off, 3 speeds is nice, no bulbs excellent

I bought this fan 5 days ago. Had Electrician install same. He could not believe negative reviews. The Light was more than adequate. He installed it quickly. The remote and fan was excellent. People who said otherwise did not know how to install. Quality also excellent.

Ben la tondeuse du voisin est plus silencieuse.
Oublie les instructions, t’auras plus de succès sans.
2 hrs à installer, je te souhaite d’avoir la clim, car à 2, vs aller suer en ta. On redémanche, et on le retourne, juste un horrible produit, si je px t’avoir fait sauver du temps. Produit non ULC, juste intertek chinois… sérieux, cherche autre chose. Pete à boutte mais heureux.

Q: Can the fan direction ( clockwise/ counter clockwise) be changed by the remote, or is there a switch on the fan?if so, where?

A: This ceiling fan can operate in the clockwise or counter clockwise direction. The switch is located on the upper motor housing, on the side of the fan.

Q: Does anyone know the height of this fan? If it's 48" as the spec's say, it would need a 12' min. ceiling.

A: That's what I was thinking, but all of the spec's on-line just show 48" for everything, and the box doesn't show it either. But I have returned it anyway, due to the poor ratings. Thank you North View for the info.

Q: Can I still use wall switch to turn on and off light. Or is it only by remote. Can I purchase an additional remote?

A: The fan is typically controlled by the remote however some wall switches allow for the power of the fan to be completely shut off by using a standard on/off switch. Please discuss your specific wiring requirements with an installer. Extra remotes are available. This new remote will need to be programed to match current setup. This is easily done by adjusting new remote pin to match existing remote.

Q: Can this fan be used outdoors in a covered area? and, does it have/allow for multiple mount positions?

A: The fan is wet rated, which means it can stand moisture but not exposed to water mist. It is down rod mounted not for ceiling mounted (hugger).
