Just bought today, Aug. 16,2019, and installed in our front door to replace the original which quit working after 27 years of use. It was a little shorter on the length so I had to drill a hole for the lower screw to fit. Other than that it was an easy install and works great although we didn't need the deadbolt as the one on the door is only a few years old. I can't speak to how it would be to install on a new door as that would take more work.
