It boils water, it screams when it’s done! Hooray!
My one complaint is that the sticker with the bar code on it is RIGHT ON THE BOTTOM. So peeling it off left residue that needed to be scrubbed and eventually just burnt off. Very foolish placing. But that has nothing to do with the kettle itself so there ya go.

A: I’m sure you could use it, the kettle would handle it no problem. I would be curious if the stove had enough power to boil water would be the only concern. It is stainless steel and works very well on my boat on a propane burner and a portable burner when I’m on the beach.

Q: Can you add tea leaves or loose tea into the kettle when boiling water?

A: I wouldn't advise that. I personally think it would be hard to clean out after doing so. It is just designed to boil water only and doesn't mention boiling Tea in it. The kettle is very efficient in boiling water to be used for any kind of tea in a teacup or flask.

A: Hi: Bushman: I have NO idea how much it weights - Suggest that to go to the Store and see for yourself. I think it would be Very Bulky in a Backpack - On a Camp Stove - Fire - it is TOO thin. Hope my Answers help.
