Needed triple A's

I had been looking for a charger. Decades of excellence in value from energizer had me surprised that it only came with double A's a battery I once needed more but is other than for one controller not a need I have now.
I had previously even got a charger with both but Canadian Tire didn't have triple A's. So I can't speak to if the charger is even any good . Due to changes in how they label them I'd say more was a mystery than I like when buying batteries or chargers as matching the battery to the type of draw of the device is important to me and the planet

Cannot beat this I don’t care what people say about Duracell energisers for me is the best and always will be great value for money never a flat battery around great product!

Super useful device, definitely worth the money. I’ve had one for years and it still works perfectly! It charges batteries fast, up to 35% in about 30 minutes.

Don't last very long

It's nice to have rechargable batteries, but these have flaws that are impossible to ignore.
The AAAs have to be positioned just right or they won't properly charge. One accidental nudge and you'll waste hours thinking the battery is still charging.
They don't last very long. We mostly use them for Wii remotes, and the battery has to be recharged weekly. Normal batteries last much, much longer.
I could excuse all of that, but they aren't made with durability. Normal use results in the battery covering cracking at the edge and starting to peel off of the battery.

A: This might be a manufacturer question. We.do not use that many triple aaa batteries and have purchased many more double aas. Our guess is that AAA batteries cost more.

A: You can charge either 2 batteries or 4 batteries, but not 1 single battery nor 3 batteries.

Q: Does this charger have a Discharge and Refresh mode?

A: No however there are Audio and Visual Alerts on the charger to indicate the status of the charge as well as a Bad Battery Detection Alert in case the battery is not charging. Another feature is the Overcharge protection prevention that will ensure the recharge batteries do not get overcharged ruining the battery for future charges.

A: Yes as long as you have a European adaptor/convertor then you could us this in Europe. The Smart Charger is a older model that was just replaced with Energizers Pro Charger.
