Energizers are the only battery that i noticed that if you leave them in for a long time, they wont leak. The are longer lasting than most batteries.

10 year shelf life?

I find it interesting that Energizer prides themselves on the fact that their batteries have a 10 year shelf life (not to be confused with usage time), but there is nothing on the packaging to indicate just when the batteries were made that would initiate the start of that 10 year shelf life.
