EnerG+ Vertical Freestand Outdoor Infrared Electric Patio Heater, 1500W

I've used it a few times for working in the garage and in the driveway. The heater does a pretty good job at keeping you warm while outside (I was using it when the weather was around 5-10 celcius). You do need to stay in fairly close proximity, like within 6 feet to really feel warm.. any further is diminished value (as is the case with all infrared heaters) but at least its fairly efficient when being used in the open air, since it doesn't heat the air. So I would say it is great for outdoors, but for inside the garage I would say on a cold day I would still use my gas heater to heat the air inside the garage first, and then flip on the infrared heater to just keep it toasty (but that's just personal preference). Seems really well built. Good Quality unit that claims to be weather resistant. I love that it's rain and dust resistant, although I doubt I'll use it in the rain much (maybe?). The only real complaint is that the remote control seems a bit cheaply built, although it does seem to work ok, and the hook that holds it on the back on the unit for storage is completely useless (the remote will fall off with the slightest bump or breeze). I stuck some velcro on it to hold it in place. Pros: quality, weather resistant, multiple settings (3 heat levels + off). Manufacturer gives an extra 90days warranty for giving a review.. (hence why I am writing a review). Cons: Storage for remote control is no good, and no cord storage. Some upfront assembly required (The allen key that comes with it is made of cheap metal and will strip away completely... don't bother trying to use it).
