Requires a dual-pole, dedicated breaker at 60A+ for a 48A charge or 50A+ for a 40A charge. Q: if Wi-Fi doesn't reach your phone App, will this "Bluetooth feature" work OK instead?
7 months agoA: Hello, the Emporia product will connect to Wi-Fi upon initial set up and installation. The EV charger and smartphone/tablet running the Emporia App will both need to be in Wi-Fi range for the initial set up. Once set up, the mobile phone can access the EV charger through the Emporia App from anywhere around the world, provided the EV charger is connected to the Wi-Fi network. Bluetooth is only used during the initial set up for finding the Emporia device.
