Great chainsaw

I was skeptical of a battery chainsaw but thought it might be useful around the property. I was wrong on my skepticism this is a great product. My gas chainsaw died and needednto cut down some trees and the Ego came through. It cut down a couple large trees and cut them up for splitting with no issues.

First use of 16” chainsaw

Initial cutting power was good, but that only lasted for the first 5 minutes. I’ve since had to buy a new chain and I’ve only used it once. In addition my 56v battery started flashing red and needed to cool down after about 10 minutes of use. It also drained fairly quickly. I have other EGO products and have been really happy with their performance. It’s been a disappointing first use of my 16” chainsaw. Perhaps the replacement chain will last longer than the manufacturer provided one. Time will tell.

Good chainsaw

Neat chainsaw, decently powerful. Made short work of 10inch pines. After a day of use it sounds like I might have a bearing failure. More testing is required.
