terrible battery life

the V7 Trigger I have only lasts a few minutes and dies. Its charging more than cleaning terrible product!!!!

poor design . clogs up

We had a precious model DC34 which served us well until the motor died.
We also have a V10 and a Miele plug in for the bigger jobs, and wanted to replace the hand held
This gets regular light use .Despite emptying after every use and washing the filter it started pulsing.My wife and I have just spent a quite few hours cleaning the machine.the filter was totally clogged inside and more importantly the interior, inside the shiny perforated cylindrical right up to the cyclones was full of debris /clogged . Dyson , can you put an official video up how to clean it please .
The old Hand held DC34 was a simpler and effective design and never clogged up like this one .

Battery seems to be not getting charged

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The power dies within two minutes and when put in charge the light turns off early. I think it needs 3 hours charging but is not doing so.

The machine has two modes: powerful suction mode and max mode. The machine may be in max mode out the box. Max mode is designed to be a temporary boost of power for particularly stubborn messes, and provides 7 minutes total, continuous run time. The powerful suction mode is ideal for majority of cleaning tasks, but the max mode is there if needed.

V7 Trigger

I bought this less than a year ago and it will not keep a charge. If you ha e it on high power your lucky to get 2 minutes. On the lower mode it will run longer but not 30 minutes. It doesn’t pick up good and fast on the lower mode either. It does pick up but you may have to go over areas a few times in the low mode. Very disappointed cause it cost a lot and I can’t afford to get anything else!

Hello Amber, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your V7 handheld holding a charge. Your Dyson V7 features two suction modes, MAX and regular power. While regular power is suitable for most household messes, you may find that some debris is more stubborn to pick up and does require MAX power mode. While in MAX power, your unit will receive a boost of power, making suction more powerful. When fully charged, you can expect run time from 7-30 minutes, depending on which suction mode and tools you are using.

Best multipurpose vacuum on the market. Cordless, easy to use and powerful. We bought it for use on our sail boat but loved it so much we bought one for home too.

A: Call Dyson Canada, they have a one-year guarantee. I got my battery replaced, and they can help you also if it’s not a product defect that’s the problem.
