Q: How can I keep the hose for attachments extended

Q: Can this vacuum be used on shag carpet? I have one of those shaggy Costco area rugs, can I use this vacuum on it or will be beater bar get caught up in it?
4 years agoA: I don't think it would be advisable to use this vacuum on a shag rug. The suction is incredibly strong, so strong I can't use it on any runners or throw rugs, the beater gets caught up in the rug. I can't imagine what would happen on a shag rug.
