Poor quality wheel covers

I purchased Alpena Drive Style Turbo wheel covers from Canadian Tire in October 2024 and attempted to install them for the first time just over a year later (early Dec 2025). While installing the first cover it cracked immediately at the valve stem. I continued with the install and then a wire retaining tab broke. At this point I decided to stop. After inspecting the wheel covers I found them to be of poor quality made with thin plastic.
I attempted to return them back to Canadian Tire, however the returns clerk could not process the return due to the purchase date. Alpena stated that installation damage is not covered under warranty and offered to replace one cover for $35.99. Given that the product broke on its first installation, I declined.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend these wheel covers due to poor quality.
No, I do not recommend this product.

These wheel-covers are OK for the money

When I first received these (box of 4), it was evident that the box had been opened and then repackaged. When I went to put them on the vehicle, the last one (naturally) was broken. Obviously the previous purchaser had broken it and returned it, likely indicating that they didn't fit. Canadian Tire did replace the set and they were perfect. They were noisy (rattled a lot) for a while, but they seem to be fine now. As I said in the title, OK for the price.
