The Detailers Grip A577 is a steady-hand assist

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received the Dremel Detailers Grip Kit A577 from Dremel for review. In short, a real game-changer for detail work. I do both crafts and all sorts of home improvements/repairs and sometimes there is nothing to lean your hand/arm against to steady your cuts, etc. The Detailers Grip helps tremendously in such situations by giving you wonderfully shaped handle/grip to hold your tool steady without having to wrap your hand around the larger tool itself. This is especially effective when doing fine/thin cuts or engravings when an unsteady hand can ruin your workpiece. I have attached a picture of one of my crafting items ............. a Black Ebony wood lamp finial with mother of pearl inlays on two side. You sure do need a steady hand for work like this, and this Dremel Detailers Grip help gets you there. Recommend highly.

Yes, I recommend this product.

If fine details matter, this is a must!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using Dremel rotary tools for several years and can’t believe I didn’t pick one of these up sooner. Something so simple, but makes a huge difference! I’ve always felt that the full sized rotary tools, without a flex shaft, we’re bulky and hard to spend any significant amount of time using without hand fatigue and cramping. But this handy attachment makes holding a full sized tool much more comfortable and your work so much more precise. Very easy to install and remove, comfortable, a little grippy but not too much, and lightweight. I don’t know that I’ll go back to using a full sized Dremel without it. It allows you to get the power of a bigger tool, while still having the precision of using a micro tool or flex shaft. The attachment comes with an engraving bit, a small stencil template, and easy to follow instructions to get you started. I tested the product with both my 3000 and my 395, and feel like I need another one so I don’t have to switch back and forth. The only negatives I could come up with, and aren’t even enough to dock it a star, was that I had to dig out a wrench to change larger bits such as a sanding drum because the quick wrench on the piece that you remove wouldn’t fit over the bit. Naturally, it makes your tool bulkier, so it’s a little more tricky to get into hard to reach areas if you have to grind, sand, or carve in a specific direction. Other than that, I couldn’t find anything to complain about!

Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a great addition. I used it to etch a piece of wood then my grand daughter wanted me to write her name on a piece of metal for her bike. It worked great. It made me a lot more steady and you could read what i wrote.

Yes, I recommend this product.
