Well constructed

Solid construction but unfortnately didn't work for my application. The spray pattern does not work for the area that I would like to use it for - a narrow long strip of grass.

A: Pick a pattern that matches the space (Example – Square) then adjust the water supply up or down to control the flow and how far out it sprays.

Q: does this have a misting setting? Want to know what sort of pressure required for optimum usage.

A: Yes the Dramm turret sprinkler has a few settings that could be categorized as mist. These settings are suitable for outdoors and operate best at 40 psi. This is achievable with most municipality water systems. Rural water pumps delivering water from a well or cistern will supply water pressure between 30 and 40 psi. which will reduce the area covered. Misting is generally used to water seeded areas and the "time on" is limited so not to wash fine seed away. Dramm is a company who supplies commercial growers with misting systems. Our experience is that the definition of misting is dependent on the specific application. Outdoor misting requires large droplets to ensure uniformity and coverage under some wind conditions. Indoor misting covers smaller areas and the mist droplet size is very small.
