My kid loves it. There was a small defect. There were no holes for the screw at the bottom of the ladder. I had to make it by myself. Labeling for J to M were not proper. Otherwise, it was fun to assemble.

Q: Do the beds come with slats that would hold up a dense foam Mattress?

A: I have two different quality foam mattresses and both are sturdy enough to not be affected by 6" or so between slats. Choose foam carefully is my recommendation. It's never been an issue and we've had a combined total weight of nearing 400lbs on lower bunk with foam mattress and only complaint, you feel the slats at higher weights.

Q: What is the height between the two bunks? From the photo it seems the space between the two bunks is smaller than other bunk beds we have seen.

Q: What is the weight capacity per bunk? Will each bunk hold a 120lb teen as well as a mattress??

A: It says 165 per bunk though we've had a combined total weight of nearing 400 lbs on lower bunk and it was sturdy enough to hold up. Not sure I'd want much more than 200-225lbs on lower bunk and if stacked, yes to the 165 lbs for safety purposes.
