Terrible vacuum...does not pick up hardly anything

I bought this vacuum for the only room I have that is carpeted which is my entryway. Right from the beginning it barely picked up anything. I need to go over and over and over an area about 10x10 and it still looks un-vacuumed. Extremely disappointed. Would not recommend at all.

Hi Terri, Thank you for rating the Dirt Devil Endura Dynamite Upright Vacuum! It could be time to rinse out your filter. Remember to only rinse it with water and let it dry for 24 hours. If that does not help, we ask you to make sure the air path is not clogged. If it is, remove the nozzle and then remove the clog. This should increase your suction! Absolute waste of money.

I bought this vacuum to replace my Bissell, thinking I'd give dirt devil a shot. WORST MISTAKE. I can clean carpets and couches better with my broom than this vacuum. Has been trash since it came out of the box. Barely any suction at the head or the attachment. Very unimpressed, will not be purchasing Dirt Devil products again.

Waste of money

I bought this vacuum for my Mom before Christmas but she did not want it. I took it home thinking I would use it for the basement. With the season and all I forgot about it and took it out today, March 9. The first time I used it the suction was average but thought it was okay for small area. During use I put it in upright position to get more cord and when I started it up the machine smelled like the clutch burnt out. Poof, 10 minutes of mediocre use. Not impressed.
No, I do not recommend this product.
