Thought we had found a good replacement for "composite" boards

These were bought in-hopes that they would be a suitable replacement for so-called "composite" heat-resistant cutting boards costing substantially more. The "dishwasher safe" rating would also have been a bonus since the composite boards eventually warp under such use. Unfortunately, this product turned out NOT to be the magic bullet, and unless you don't mind the look and feel of a hard plastic board (not unlike coloured Lexan etc) then keep looking.
