I use the 12v Xtreme Impact Wrench for basically all my DIY automotive needs. Its powerful. Works no problem and zero hesitation on my vehicles lug nuts torqued at 100 ft lbs. Doing all 4 wheels is no problem and doesn't use a single bar of the 12v 5 ah battery. Very handy and lightweight to fit pretty much anywhere you'd need an impact wrench. I use this way more often that I did with larger more powerful impact wrenches. DeWalt's 12v Xtreme line of tools are a total win and as far as I'm concerned a must have for homeowners looking for quality, lightweight and powerful tools.

Absolutely positively great tool

Got this to replace my Chicago pneumatic CP7732 stubby impact. This had every bit the power maybe more. No airline to contend with. Great power. Great light. Takes off all properly torqued lug nuts no problem. Get some impact swivel sockets use it almost anywhere

Lotta torque, little package

This impact has almost the same specs as the earlier 20 volt max brushed model, in a much smaller package. I've had mine for 9 months now, and it still impresses me. I've removed some extremely rusted lug nuts with it, and it doesn't even hesitate. Pair this with a 5ah battery, and you'll be set all day. I've also used it to set some lag screws in an old telephone pole, and it was satisfying to watch how quick they set. It feels great to hold, and even the sound it makes is bold. Only thing that would make it better is if they carried over the light ring from the 12 volt extreme 3/8 impact.

So far this impact has impressed me very much. Works great for many automotive needs, like exhaust clamps, brakes,light lugs nuts,suspension,etc. Even gets some axle nuts but is'nt really made for that type of torque so i usually use my high torque 1/2in. for those. Gives Milwaukee a serious run for the price! Mower blades are a breeze! A 5ah battery is a near must if used regulary.
