I bought this Dewalt cordless reciprocating saw to cut up wood and fibreboard debris that was riddled with staples and nails for disposal. I made short work of the whole pile with this marvellous tool. The Dewalt battery held its charge throughout with no problem at all. I’m looking forward to the next time/next project I can use it on. It was enjoyable to work with. I would highly recommend its purchase to anyone.

A: Yes, I bought this kit. It came with the fastest DeWalt charger I own. (I have a DCB107 and DCB112 as well, that are both substantially slower than this DCB115) - I'd say the DCB107 takes about 3x as long to charge a battery as the DCB115.

Q: Your answers contradict each other. What is the correct information? Your answer to question 1 was 3ah. Your answer to question 2 is model DCS380M1 which is a 4ah model. In Features its listed as the DCS380P1 which, as stated, is a 5ah model. Which information is correct?

A: As technology advances, we do our best to meet the changing needs of our customers and apologize for any confusion. This reciprocating saw was originally introduced as DEWALT model DCS380L1 with a 3Ah battery, but was upgraded to DCS380M1 with a 4Ah battery in 2013. Since mid-2015, we have offered DCS380P1 with a 5Ah battery.

Q: Puis-je utiliser une autre batterie Dewalt? J'aimerais savoir si la batterie de ma perceuse Dewalt DCD780 est compatible avec la scie ainsi que les chargeurs et vice-versa? La batterie pour la scie est XR 5AH 20VMax (DCB205) et celle de ma perceuse est 1,5AH 20VMax (DCB201).
