No blade
a month ago
You would think that when buying a saw it would come with a blade. Nowhere on the packaging or in the instructions does it say that the blade was not included. The last jigsaw I bought came with a blade, so I assumed this would be the same case. I drove an hour round trip to buy this saw because my old one went missing and I was in the middle of a project. Got home and can’t even use it. Very disappointed.

I'm a hobbyist and have used this jig saw every weekend for the past several months. Our
It has fallen from my work bench area quite a few times and this thing is tough. I always check the blade to see if the t-shank has loosened from the clasp... it never does. Operates smooth. The variable angle and variable speed functions help customize my work for each new task.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Quality issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this saw for under a year now, not much heavy use and had no issues. As of late however, the blade does not sit in the track but instead sits just to the right of the guide. This is especially noticeable when the blade is moving at speed. The issue is that the cut starts out perfect and with in 2-3 inches the blade starts veering to the right and bends. I use a guide track for straight cuts and free hand with a speed square , Im careful how I push etc, as of late nothing works and its getting frustrating .

The item was in clearance, I assumed it was because it was being discontinued... but the item I was sold was noticeably used and returned. I wish that was more clear.

Q: What is the noise rating on this jigsaw? Another maker supplies an 80 db jigsaw, 3.9 amp motor, $30 less expensive. I live in an apartment and want the least noise possible. Thanks.

A: It is as quiet as any jigsaw. What makes noise is what you are cutting. Use a finer tooth blade with lighter pressure to make less noise.
