    Really underpowered. Minimal usefulness.

    First of all I should say I love Dewalt 20v tools and have many of them. I bought this 883 for it's compact size and CLAIMED 130ft lbs torque spec that should be plenty for simple lug nuts and such around the vehicle. I run it with fresh 5Ah 20v batteries, and I can't get any lugs at 100ft lbs to break. I tried them at 80 and I can't even get them to break. In fact every bolt I have tried them on, save for anything under 50 ft lbs requires manual breaking. So now what I find this useful for is to snug up lugs to what seems to be about 75-80ft lbs max, and then finish off with a torque wrench. Honestly I regret buying this and wish I had gone with the bigger model, which I hear is does in fact work at the claimed torque levels.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for auto repairs, changing tires on boat trailer while on the way to the lake, taking blades off lawn tractor etc... I even had to lend to a friend. Bought it 4 1/2 years ago.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 3/8" impact wrench a while back and was sure glad I did. I've had to do a number of construction tasks lately and this tool makes screwing large lag bolts into 4x4s and tightning up nuts on bolts so quick and easy compared to doing it by hand with a socket and ratchet.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this daily around my ranch- tightening gates, changing tires, fixing the mower, you name it! Great for fast assembly and enough power to snap rusty fasteners (3/8-1/2” bolts) all day! Great battery life with 4 and 5ah batteries too!
