The DCB240-2 20V MAX 4Ah compact lithium Ion battery 2-pack provides the highest capacity within the DEWALT 20V MAX compact battery lineup. Using state-of-the-art lithium ion technology, the DCB240 DEWALT 20V MAX battery delivers up to one-third more run time while maintaining the same size and weight as the DCB230 20V MAX 3Ah compact battery. Its small size and light weight provide ergonomic benefits for increased tool maneuverability and control for overhead applications. Dewalt batteries , Done buying stuff from Alibaba etc, going back to supporting Canadian sellers, returns are very good , no hassle, first line name brands not counterfeit knock offs. People at Alcona CTC very helpful, highly recommend..

Battery Life

Bought these about two years ago and now they don’t charge. I also have another set of 2mA that came with my drill set which are still working perfectly. Lost receipt so no warranty coverage. Could have been old stock, bought after COVID.

They just work well and forever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had three of these compact 4ah batteries for a few years now. They have been fantastic. I can use them all day in my DCF 840 impact driver and not see a drop. Or my sander…. They just work. I’d certainly recommend them to anyone. Unlike other negative post, I can leave them for days on the tool, move them from tool to tool and continue using before I need to swap out to a fresh battery or charge. I’m no contractor but these get used. Now I am shopping for either more compact 4ah or the new Powerstack 1.7ah?

Won’t charge

I have 4 of these batteries that are right around 2 years old and 3 out of the 4 won’t charge or hold a charge for anytime at all. I have plenty of older and newer batteries but only having issues with these 4ah ones
