    Great Masonry bits

I love using these to get through the concrete walls in order to hang up really heavy shelves. They work perfectly.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Excellent Bits

I bought these bits when they went on sale, having heard they were really good bits! THEY ARE! They eat through brick like butter! When they finally dull I will buy them again, even at full price!!!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Excellent quality set

I've been using this set for long time and still drilling well. Quick tip: do not drill for a long time on harder materials to avoid overheating the bits. If you plan to do a lot of stone or masonry drilling, think of investing on a Mastercraft Corded Hammer Drill Product #54-2951-6

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Pay more up front and get a superior masonry bit

I picked up a MasterCraft hammer drill years back that came with some masonry bits. These bits were fine for light duty (e.g., drilling holes in cinder block to support a shelf in the garage), but they've snapped or bent over the last few years so it was time to pick up a replacement. I was looking at MasterCraft again, but decided to go with this set because I had read good reviews about other DeWalt bits. I picked up this set of DeWalt masonry bits on sale at Canadian Tire a year ago. The pouch they came in pretty cheap, but I have no complaints about the bits after two years of use. So far they've been used on several projects ranging from hanging a hose reel on the side of a brick house to drilling through many pavers to add designs to a backyard sidewalk. The carbide tip is showing signs of wear, but they still eat through all types of masonry fast I highly recommend paying more up front and buy these DeWalt percussion bits over any no name brands. I know $28 sounds like a lot for four bits, but you'll be happier in the long run.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Do those bits work on concrete?

    1 Answer
    • A: Yes. For optimum performance these should be used with a corded / cordless hammer drill.
