DEWALT 20V Max Li-Ion Cordless High-Torque Impact Wrench Kit, 1/2-in

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool is great and saves time and clutter. Before this tool I would have two different air tools along hoses and wrenches all over the floor. Now I just have this impact wrench to do it all. It’s heavy and durable. Less clean up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great wrench with plenty of torque for all normal work, up to 400 ft pounds. Just rotated the tires on my Silverado with no problems and they are torqued at 140 ft pounds. With the electric brake and variable speed trigger you can adjust how much torque you want to put on, don't over torque with the wrench, but use the final adjustment with a manual torque wrench. Since it comes with it comes with two 4AH batteries you have more then enough power. The charger is fast, its a DCB115, which I use for nearly all of my Dewalt tools. it is a little big and hefty but a lot of times if the space is tight you can use a universal joint adapter. When I am traveling I just put the batteries and charger with it into its included bag into my truck and go. It has a detent pen, which i preferred to a hog ring because it holds the attachments tighter. When its new you may want to loosen up the pin by pressing it a few times with the flat side of a pair of linesmen pliers. If you're having trouble getting a socket off, just use a pair of needle nose pliers, it comes right off. All in all, a great wrench at a great price.

Very versatile. Variable speed trigger and an electric break allow you to control the force used on a bolt. Max torque of 400, plenty of power for a wrench on regular work. A little heavy but easy to use. Loosened nuts easily on Silverado truck that have a torque setting of 140 lbs. Comfortable grip with lots of heft. Has a detent pin in place of hog ring, while some complain hard to get off sockets with a detent pin, if you loosen first before use with a flat piece like on linesman pliers, they come off much easier. Deep well is easier but may need a phillips to depress the pin on a regular socket. All in all, great wrench at a great price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to use a impact driver with a socket adapter for all of my mechanic work. I never felt like I needed a big impact wrench, boy was I wrong. After doing just a few projects this impact wrench has already paid for it itself, it is a little heavy but having that 400 foot pounds of torque is perfect to really snug bolts down. I may not use it as much as my impact driver but having the right tools always makes the job easier. The kit I bought comes with two 4ah batteries, charger and a bag. The 4ah batteries are good for keeping the weight down while still getting enough power.
