    Big on torque

This battery operated impact driver is as powerful as my most powerful air driver. I never have to get out an air driver with this brute around. It will twist the most rusted bolts off without breaking a sweat, all that's required is a fully charged battery. It's tough af they come, I don't know what kinds of plastic they make these tools out of but whatever it is it's almost indestructible.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Perfect for removing tire lug bolts.

I take this to the junk yard to quickly remove bolts when I'm scavenging for car parts. I also use it when removing my snow tires for the winter. The motor slowly spins down when you release the trigger so if you're looking for a precise stop then you won't get it. I scratched a nice aluminum rim by realizing this too late.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: how long will a battery last before it needs recharged?

    1 Answer
    • A: This depends on the application. The more demanding the application the greater the impact on run-time with any/all cordless tools. That said, the XRP from DEWALT stands for “Extended Runtime Plus” as these are 2.4Ah NiCad cells designed to provide longer run-time. NiCad has some benefits over Lithium including extreme temperature performance, number of cycles (re-charges) and cost. With the higher cost of Lithium has come the development of 1.3 , 1.5, 2.0 Ah cells, to help keep costs and retails lower. That said, the measure of run-time is based on the Amp Hour which in this case XRP = 2.4Ah, thus competitive run-time.
