With the DeWalt DXAEJ14 Jump Starter and Power Station, you no longer need to dread roadside emergencies when your vehicle won't start. This compact, portable device will test your alternator to make sure it is in proper working order and delivers serious jump-starting power with 1400 peak amps. That's enough power to jump-start a 12-Volt AGM, GEL, or WET battery in your car, truck, SUV, motorcycle, boat, RV, ATV, or tractor; all without the need to use another vehicle for assistance. Simply connect the clamps to the battery, turn on the switch, and start your vehicle. The reverse polarity alarm will alert you when there is an improper connection. A high-powered LED light and LCD screen readout with real-time information to help you work in the dark. This jump starter is equipped with a digital 120 PSI air compressor with autostop™ and Sure Fit® nozzle to help inflate tires that have low pressure. The built-in USB ports come in handy to charge your phone and electronic devices. For optimal performance, the unit should be charged every 30 days when not in use. Q: I'm looking at purchasing this unit strictly for its air compressor. I'm also considering the other dewalt compressor that canadian tire has CT# 54-7297-4 . Can you tell me which product would be better for my specific need? I inflate 3/4 ton truck tires.
3 years agoA: This product is unreliable when it comes to the Air Compressor. They overheat & eventually stop working. I’ve probably already warrantied 3 units. Go for the other Dewalt that is specific for tires.

Q: Can this unit be used to power an inverter? It Would be a good feature to use to run an inverter since it doesn't have one built-in. I have an Eliminator 1000 inverter and booster. Now it looks like I have to purchase and store a battery to run the inverter.

6 years agoA: This will vary depending on the type of phone, it's battery capacity, its age capacity as well as the charge level, age and capacity of the jumper. However, this powerful jumper if fully charged can charge multiple phones multiple times on a charge.
