Detail K2 OPG777 12-in 14 HP Gas-Powered Commercial Stump Grinder

I bought this last month. When I put it together it wouldn't start. I determined that the ignition wires were inserted into the plug incorrectly so I pulled them out and re-inserted them correctly. It still didn't start so after reading the troubleshooting and checking the oil, I determined the oil was too low so I had to go buy some. The stump grinder then started and I went to use it. It's didn't take long for one of the teeth to go flying off. Upon investigation, I discovered that the nut and bolt were inserted opposite the way the rest of the teeth and they were sheared off. I need to have the 2 nuts and bolts replaced as I have been unable to find any that fit at any of my local stores.

Trop cher pour ce que c'est. Difficile à contrôler car pas de frein. Qualité très moyenne. Service client laisse vraiment a désire. En gros acheter ailleurs pour votre bien !

Few things that I don't like about the design. 1 . Really can't see what the teeth positing is in relation to the stump. I can work this though. 2. The design makes it very difficult to position the machine. What I mean is... do some grinding, shutdown the engine (safety), fight with the pin (not alot of room) to unlock tire(s), reposition the machine, line up the hole of the tire(s) and struggle to insert the pin (again, lack of space) so that the tire(s) can lock to continue grinding. Note, All this in accordance to operation manual. The axles and tires could have been designed much better for locking than to have to bend down every time I need to reposition but I don't have a choice and have to work with it. 3. Why this product this two stars. Well. My machine hasn't turned over an hour on its clock yet when it broke while I was operating it. Grinding a stump, two bolts had sheared off thus sending a tooth flying and caused an abnormal vibration. Note: I scramble to look for emergency shutdown switch but it doesn't have one thus I had to choke the engine quickly. Better quality of bolts should have been used--while designing the product-- especially bolts that are holding rotating parts together (ie. The teeth). Thanks for reading.

Bought in June '23. I had never heard of DK2 but glad I discovered the brand. Assembly was easy...did it myself. Surprised at how solid the construction is. I don't think there's anything on the 260acre mixed forest property it can't handle with ease.

Great machine for the money. Bought it to do a stump at my house. After using it i decided to start my own business.
