Good bike rack for a family trip

I used it as a second bike rack for when I need to carry 4 bikes. I used it on a long trip with 3 bikes, and it was quite sturdy. I keep it on my car because it's very compact and doesn't block my rear camera.

Bought this on sale. Travelled a couple logging roads and a 4 hour drive so far. No issues whatsoever. Easy to set up and take on and off and frees up the bed of my truck. I would buy this again without question!

Acheté en liquidation à 50$, fait très bien le travail, on a rentré 4 vélos (3x adultes, 1x 20 po). S'installe super facilement, les clips fonctionnent bien. Se baisse pour pouvoir ouvrir la valise. Excellent pour des familles qui aiment le vélo récréatif. Le seul bémol serait de s'assurer d'avoir un cadre standard pour que ça fit. Très satisfaite à ce prix !

Q: Will the rack hold women’s and children’s bikes properly as well, or only suitable for adult bikes with straight top tube?

A: This rack will hold children's bikes and women's bikes as well but you will have to be creative in how you arrange them. You sometimes have to angle the straps so that they can be attached to the bike. It also depends on the size of the bike. If the child's bike is very small, you might be out of luck.

A: It’s unlikely, if the spare tire was off yes as it only sticks out away from the vehicle about less than a foot length from the rack meets Vehicle.

Q: This looks like a good buy, however, I wanted to ask how this held up with 4 four bikes on? Seems like the forks may not be able to hold the weight of 4 bikes. What is the weight capacity of this product? I dont see it on the website. Thanks

A: Our fork could hold the 4 bikes however, the strapping has almost all broken after only 3 uses. Pretty disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this hitch.
