Only bought this because it was the cheapest waterproof sealant they had in stock, only needed a small amount, so would have been nice if it came with a cap to use when done, had to put a screw in the end the seal it which is why only 3 stars.

I had a window at the front of my trailer replaced a year ago at the dealership. It leaked during a heavy rainstorm back. The dealer told me to bring it in and pay to have it resealed. I chose this product after researching and sealed it myself. I won't be doing business with that dealer again.

A: Yes, just let it cure properly before touching it. I think there are better outdoor only alternatives that would last longer.

A: I used it to caulk around my window of my bobcat don’t know that you’d want to use that on a counter top it is also flat black not glossy.

A: Thank you for posting your inquiry on DAP DYNAFLEX 230. DYNAFLEX 230 is designed, tested, marketed, labeled and recommended as a door, window, siding and trim sealant, not as a kitchen, bath and plumbing sealant. As this is an acrylic-latex (water-based) formula, the sole drying mechanism is the evaporation of water. Use of the product as you describe would be considered an entrapped application. Application in an entrapped condition (between surfaces/materials that do not permit water to evaporate) are especially difficult for these products to perform in, as there is no way for the water in the product to escape, thereby preventing it from properly drying. When installing threaded drain assemblies, the use of a plumber's putty is typically recommended.
