Terrible instructions!

If it wasn’t for Rick’s review that included instructions I wouldn’t have figured it out. Here’s a copy so you don’t have to look for it… They took a very simple solution (bolt with wing nut) and replaced it with the most frustrating and confusing set up with horrible instructions so you're left to figure out their poor design by yourself. Directions: Optional: separate the toilet seat and the bracket/hinge (slide them out) 1. Pop open the covers of the bracket/hinge (I found this hard to do) 2. Unscrew the bolt out of the black rubber 3. Place the flat white rubber piece on the underside of the toilet bracket/hinge (there are 4 bumps that should align) 4. Push the black rubber through the bracket/hinge so that the flat washer-esque piece lays within the divet in the bracket/hinge 5. Push the black rubber now through the hole in the toilet seat (good luck on this one...wiggling it helps but it's very hard to get through - you want the bracket/hinge flush with the toilet but if you pull the black rubber too hard from the bottom it'll go right through and you need to start from scratch) 6. Place the circular white washer on top of the black rubber washer 7. Put the screw through the washers then use a screwdriver to push it down (along with the washers) - it should be nice and tight 8. Slide the toilet seat back onto the bracket/hinges (screws need to be down far enough for this to slide over) 9. Do your business 10. Write a bad review while you're doing your business

No, I do not recommend this product.

Installation incredibly difficult

I returned this after an hour of trying to install this. There are no written instructions, only pictures that are difficult to see and understand. Once I figured it out, I fought and fought to get the threaded rubber gasket through the toilet. I finally gave up. The idea is good in theory but I doubt the designer ever tried to install one.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Worse instruction ever! Do not buy if you don’t want to get frustrated and start swearing! Canadian Tire needs to stop selling these right away! • A: If it’s the one with the black rubber around bolts that’s a piece of junk whoever came up with that design needs their head examined

Q: Shoud seem obvious, but... HOW DO YOU INSTALL THIS. I've seen pretty unclear instructions. But this ranks up there with the worst. I'm looking on line to see if I can find an explanation. I've installed lots of toilet seats. This is not standard.
