Q: Is is possible to adjust the gap between the bowl and the beaters?
a year agoA: No, they used years ago but now it's not necessarily important in most cases. The only ones that do I believe are commercial equipment do to huge amounts.

A: The weight itself is more than. 15 lbs. I love mine on the counter. The bowl itself is quite light

A: It locks into place. The bowl does not move when the mixer is on.

Q: Cuisinart says max cap for flour 6 cups. Recipe book with machine says basic white bread - 8 CUPS. How is this possible please??
a year agoA: I do believe the mixer can handle 10 cups. It will be advertised as litre capacity in Canada and quart capacity in the US. All you do is google how many cups in a 5 litre or 5 quart measure whatever size your bowl is.

A: Hi, The maximum capacity for any Yeast dough made within this unit is 6 cups of flour - which is approximately 1.75lbs. 3lbs of flour (in addition to other ingredients) would be considered over capacity. Thanks
