Good product easy to use.

I finally bought one. This was on an exceptional sale - thanks Canadian Tire!. Basic set up and use. It took a few tries to get the food sealed properly. I am very glad I purchased refills at the same time of this purchase. There are very few bags that come with the main unit.

A: Same issue here, but I just push down on the top a little. Yes it's a hassle but hopefully it loosens up a bit with more use.

Q: Why does the vacumn function fail once in awhile. Then i wait and try again after 3-4 minutes it works? No obstructions, all clean and bag is fine.

A: probably because there isn't enough time for the machine to cool down and it shuts down when overworked/overheated. That can be an issue with the cheaper units, you are limited on how many bags you can seal in a row. How many bags do you do before it shuts down? I'd guess it's several. I try to mix up the vac'ing of bags with the sealing of the 1st end. Spreads out the actual frequency you are using the pump to draw air out.
