Great smoothie maker

I got my first system as a Christmas gift about 8 years ago. I loved it from day one. When my larger container developed a large crack I decided to buy a new one. I use it almost every day & would recommend it to anyone who enjoys making their own smoothies! I also use the smaller jar to grind coffee for my keurig individual coffee maker!

Not a Powerhouse

Cusinart, always a seller of good products, this one doesn't stand out. Seems weak and struggles with frozen fruit and ice. Rattles a great deal when blending for a smoothie. Will use it for mixing less hard materials.

A: Definitely! It makes short work of both raw and frozen veggies and fruit. Do not confuse it for a juicer however, you get the pulp and all.

Q: Is this same product available more than 350watt or more? Actually I need to crush rice and spices both in dry and wet form so I need more powerfull motor.

A: Wash all parts in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thouroughly. All parts are top rack dishwasher safe. Tip: You may wish to clean your blending and chopper cutting assemblies as follows: squirt a small amount of dishwashing liquid into blender jar or cups and fill halfway with warm water. Attach blade assembly. Run on Low for 15 seconds. Repeat, using clean tap water. Carefully disassemble parts and empty blender jar or cups. Rinse and dry all parts thoroughly. Finally, wipe the motor base clean with a damp cloth to remove any residue, and dry thoroughly. Never submerge the motor base in water or other liquids, or place in a dishwasher.
