Discontinued, no seal kits

It's discontinued by Crossman, they don't have repair kit for it. 132$ in Princess Auto , piston seal went bad after about 200 shots

Decent gun for plinking

I like it, it seems to be working really well for me. Although the scope isn’t the best, (changed that out). The gun itself is pretty solid. Takes about 500 pellets to break in. Shoots straight, good groupings. Got it on sale.

well used, an excellent airgun for the money

First off, replace the scope. most scopes on airguns are garbage. Built with zero care. likely to lose zero all the time. All air rifles that are under 500 fps are going to have terrible accuracy beyond 30 meters. i have hit small targets at that range with this and other air rifles. its just not going to hit everytime. The f11 has got to be the nicest feeling rifle and its super light. the nitro piston tech is superior to the spring in recoil and vibration. it can also be stored loaded without weakening but thats not recommended for any firearm really. trigger feels good but not the best. once you get used to it, its feels just as good as anything imo. i recommend a 1x red dot of any kind but decent quality for bringing out the most of your air rifle. these rifles are not really going to be accurate enough for a scope but itll do fine with a scope. in conclusion, this is one of the best air rifles ive ever used. the .22 power is also good for stopping power. .177 is fine but its a smaller projectile. it might pen deeper but thats all youre going to get. what youre shooting with these airguns, penetration isnt a huge issue. everything is going to pen and id rather a fatter projectile to do the deed quick.

Q: Do you need to obtain a license or permit before you can buy an Airgun

4 Answers
  • A: No you don't need a permit or a license to buy an air gun like this one, meaning < 500 FPS. You just need to be 18+ & be buying it for yourself. Air guns that shoot 500 FPS & over, do require a license.

Q: it says Powered by a nitro piston that provides powerful shots up to 750 fps...but then it says Shoots up to 495 fps ?????

3 Answers
  • A: The American product's writeup is included, where this rifle is allegedly 750 FPS. In Canada, the limit is 500 FPS, unless you have a Possession & Acquisition License (PAL). With a PAL, you can buy Crosman air rifles that get up to 1500 FPS.

Q: Can it kill a grouse or rabbit

1 Answer
  • A: I regret buying this pellet gun. It is so heavy that it is very difficult for a smaller person to aim accurately. It may kill a grouse or rabbit if you make a "lucky shot", but very likely will only wound it, if you can hit it. I suggest you buy a lighter rifle.
