Excellent for cleaning MAF and TP sensors. If you are not mechanically inclined, buy a can, and have a mechanic do it for you; more often than not, if you bring the cleaner, a smaller shop will ask you for no more than $20-$40 for the trouble.

Q: What happens if you use this on a turbo engine instead of the turbo cleaner version? What's the difference?

A: You rick damaging the turbo if using this product, we do not recommend using this on your turbo, we suggest you use the 75319X6 to clean your turbo. Throttle Body cleaner is a solvent based cleaner and can cause severe damage whereas the GDI Turbo Cleaner is detergent based and will not harm the turbo.

Q: Without removing the carburettor, can this be sprayed into the throat and air vents without damaging any seals and o-rings? If so can it be used while the engine is running?

A: Thank you for your question. When using this product the engine should be turned off and cold. If there is a MAF sensor between the air filter and the throttle body, it should be sprayed after the MAF sensor. Ideally it should be sprayed directly into the throttle body and air intake.

Q: Will this damage the coating on the inside of the throttle body of 2001 Ford Tauras 3.0 l OHV engine ?

A: I do not believe it will damage anything on the inside of the throttle body as it is made for this purpose. I have used it on the throttle body of my 2008 Chev Equinox and it worked perfectly.

A: No, Throttle Body Kleen would be too strong a solvent for plastic or Rubber. Best to chose our (0381704) CRC SensorKleen Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner for cleaning components containing Plastics or sensitive wiring. For rubber it’s usually best to select a water based cleaner

A: This product is not meant for Mass Air Flow sensors. Canadian Tire does carry our 75110 SensorKleen product which is designed specifically to clean the MAF sensor. CTC number 038-7304-2

Q: Can this product be used on 2-cycle small engines? I want to clean the piston in my chainsaw. Can I spray this product into the spark plug hole?

A: Yes it can it will loosen and clean any carbon deposits off any throttle body.
