Great cup, lid not so much

I just got on the website to see if I can get a replacement lid for my West Loop cup that I have had since at least 2007. The stainless steel cup is amazing. The lid not so great but I have stuck it out for about the past four years in spite of the soft material getting very sticky and now leaving a black sticky goo on my backpack and other bags. I just wanted to replace the lid but this is not possible so I rate this cup low. Seems crazy to have to ditch such a nice stainless steel cup because I can't get a lid for it. Guess I will have to look at Yeti mugs as they do offer lids available for separate purchase. Disappointing as I would rather stay with my Contigo.

“Non-spillable”

Constantly spills even when locked, don’t waste your money on this, I had to dry out several notebooks in my bag because of it.

Almost the best bottle ever.

Very nice one.
After an accidental drop, the lid broke. And the only way is to buy a new mug altogether. It would be very nice if you could sell the lids separately. Even at a higher price, but for the sake of nature's resources.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Not really. You have to get a little tiny brush or a toothbrush to clean it out. I don’t recommend putting it in the dishwasher or Spraying any bleach or other cleaning product for the plastic or rubber takes on the taste of the bleach. The only way I found a really good way to clean it is to put the lid in boiling water and let it boil with some baking soda. The lid actually takes on the taste of whatever you have in it a lot. So if you drink coffee it ends up tasting like coffee if you put something like juice in it.
