Q: Is it safe and useful to absorb excess moisture in the freezer and refrigerator?
3 years agoA: I don’t know for sure, but personally I wouldn’t. My non-professional opinion is that it is probably safe but not very useful. They work great for enclosed spaces but I think it would be a waste in a fridge or freezer where there is a lot of moisture and air flow.

5 years agoA: While the pouches are non-toxic, they are still not CFIA approved. We do not recommend placing them in dried food to reduce moisture and help prevent food spoiling. We hope this new information is helpful.

Q: About how long do these last before you have to replace them?
6 years agoA: Thank you for your question and interest in Concrobium products. Typically, our Concrobium Moisture Grabbers can last approx. 30 days. However, for areas with ongoing humidity and dampness (closets, bathrooms, cars), pouches should be replaced more frequently. In completely sealed spaces (plastic containers or storage bins) 1 pouch will be effective for up to 1 year. Frequency of replacement will vary depending on factors such as humidity levels, temperature and size of area. Replace the Moisture Grabbers pouch when all crystals have been converted to gel. A simple ‘thumb test’ will help you determine if it’s time. Press down on the pouch to feel for remaining crystals. If the entire pouch feels like gel, the Moisture Grabbers pouch should be discarded and replaced. We hope this answers your question.
