Horrible tent in every single way - do not buy

Bought this tent to replace our old Coleman instant tent which we loved and did us well for many years until sadly it reached its limits. We thought we were getting another great Coleman product but DO NOT BUY THIS TENT!!! Everything is super cheaply made and the design of the windows makes it very leaky. Right off the start we had a plastic toggle break, then soaking puddles when it rained (not waterproof at all) followed by a broken pole after the insta switch wouldn’t click. Year Warranty period has passed (by 4 months) so obviously Coleman has a way out of not being responsible for an inferior defective product. Just bypass this product if tent shopping, period.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Great tent

It was fairly easy to set up with lots of room on the inside for my family to camp comfortably. Take down was also quite easy, we even got it back into the bag on the first try.

Broken and Difficult

The one pole snapped the second time using the tent. I also can't find a replacement for this pole exactly. It also such a pain to assemble; it is so difficult to put the poles in. This was an emergency tent replacement since my last tent that lasted 15 years finally gave in. Chose the wrong one.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Easy to assemble - quality zippers and materials. Very spacious for 4 people. Lots of screen windows, good and bad. Good for hot weather, bad for at night when it cools down even when they are zipped up. Just bring extra blankets. Great tent otherwise.

Q: I just recently ourchased this tent, 3 small kids, and 4 adults. Will a double high queen mattress and a single twin mattress fir comfortably in it. Or will the double high queen mattress be too tall, and will be sleeping near the peak of the tent?

Q: I am trying to look for setting up video for the tent and more details, yet I can't even find this 8 person cabin tent model on Coleman website, has it changed series name like Skylodge or what ?

A: https://youtu.be/PS_95CwjGkY This is a quick setup video. I recommend to be careful about windy days. Make sure not to shut the windows completely. I snapped a roof pole and ripped the fly my third time out. Stayed up and dry the whole night though.
