Good simple tent

I had a great experience in this tent even though we were surprised with a storm on our first night. The tent is durable and we didn't get any water in, except for around the window area which was open. It is very easy to set up. It is sturdier than expected.

Good for summer tent

This tent is a good summer tent. Due to the way, the rain fly works with the mesh body portion of the tent. There is a lot of wind that does pass through and when that does, it gets quite cool if the temperatures are low, however, in the summertime that would keep you very, very cool if the temperature should drop down to below 8° it would get quite cold in the tent.

A: No dark room technology. We did not have any issues sleeping & now own 8 person. 2 Sons each own 6 persons & 2 Grand Children each own 4 persons & have no issues sleeping.

A: Hello! Thank you for your question. Please be advised that Waterproof materials do not 100% translate to a waterproof tent. The waterproofing of the tent is measured by our rain testing, which simulates a 6" per hour rain. To make our tents as waterproof as possible we tape all of the rainfly seams, use our WeatherTec inverted seams in other area, and use a patented welding process. We also enhance storm worthiness by our rainfly designs. Specifically our rainflys extend in such a way that runoff or dripping water is unlikely to fall on a door or window area when the tent is properly setup and guyed. Last we use polyester tent bodies and rainflys, which adds inherent waterproofing as polyester is a hydrophilic (water-fearing/shedding/repelling) material.

A: Hello. The water resistance grade of our tent is determined by rigorous rain testing procedures. We simulate heavy rainfall at a rate of 6 inches per hour to evaluate the tent's performance under extreme weather conditions. To ensure maximum waterproofing, we employ several key features: 1. All rainfly seams are taped to prevent water ingress. 2. Our WeatherTec inverted seams are used in other areas for added protection against leaks. 3. We utilize a patented welding process to enhance durability and seal seams effectively. 4. The design of our rainflies is optimized to minimize the likelihood of runoff or dripping water falling on door or window areas when the tent is correctly set up and guyed. 5. Our tents feature polyester tent bodies and rainflies, which inherently repel water due to polyester's hydrophilic (water-fearing) properties. These combined features ensure that our tents provide reliable protection against moisture, keeping you dry and comfortable even in adverse weather conditions.
