Somehow forgot our tent last time we went camping and bought this one in a pinch. Great tent, good size and easy set up. The attached poles can be a bit annoying in some take-down instances, but are overall a good feature.

We are happy with this tent, but echo two odd design items other people have mentioned. The zipper is prone to sticking quite constantly. And, there are no guylines on the sides of the tent, meaning that in a rainstorm the fly touches the tent. I solved this by buying some tarp clips at a dollar store, but it seems like you shouldn't have to do that. The fly is waterproof (tented in a big rainstorm with it) and the interior design is good; room for two adults comfortably and inside pockets etc are good. It is also easy to set-up once you get the hang of the vestibule set-up. By the way, the vestibule is great and lets you keep shoes etc outside of the tent.

Coleman tent

Coleman was the trusted name in camping gear. For the second time we dicided to buy Coleman tent but no luck this time .The tent floor peeled off in the middle before we started our one-night camping trip. The polyethylene floor was caked in bubbles .
We were in hopeless situation when we arrived - we had to spend the night in the tent dispite the significant damage .
Now, our only option is to file a claim for our tent to receive proper compensation.
Older tents where more reliable and dependable then today.

A: Hello! Thank you for your question. Please be advised that no. They have clips like regular tents. The pre-attached poles are just attached to one corner of the tent. You can unfold them and clip the poles on.

A: We appreciate you getting in touch with us to ask about the waterproof rating of the Coleman® Skydome 3-Season, 4-Person Easy Set-Up Camping Dome Tent w/Rain Fly, Vestibule, E-Port, and Carry Bag. Coleman's MINIMUM hydrostatic head rating for the fabrics in this tent is 450mm. During batch and periodic quality testing we find most of the materials test at a much higher rating.

We would be delighted to answer your inquiry. We would like to inform you that we do not recommend Coleman tents to be used in colder temperatures or in the snow season. The tent denier (or thickness) will not provide adequate insulation from the elements. It may also freeze and split in colder temperatures. Also, the poles are fiberglass and may snap under the weight of snowfall. We hope this helps answer your question. Please let us know if you need further assistance. Have a wonderful day.
