Great Pool

The pool is pretty sturdy. However, I suggest upgrading the pump. I’m using the Intex 2100 Sand Filter, and I have no issues with cloudy water. That being said, the chemical is balanced. The issue is the media cartridge, and the pressure the pump supplied. I recommend this product.

Leaks from start

Set pool up, was initially impressed with overall quality for price however once we started filling the pool it was an obvious leak coming from the base, appears to be coming from a point where two seams meet so patching will not fix. Canadian tire offered no options to exchange for another pool and waiting to hear from Bestway (this is a Bestway pool with Coleman logo) on if they will honour warranty.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Pool seems ok but accessories not so great specifically the cover it doesn’t even fit the pool. It’s too small no matter what you do with it it falls off. I don’t understand why something is added to a package just for the sake of saying it’s included when it’s absolute garbage and you can’t use it.
Vacumn attachment is useless too. I ended up buying an electronic vacumn which works great.
Coleman please send me an actual pool cover that fits the pool this is ridiculous.

Q: What size chlorine tablets does the chem-connect dispenser that comes with the Coleman 13ft pool take?

A: It takes the 1 inch tablets and you can fit several in the dispenser at a time - Aquarius Stabilized Chlorine Tablets. Canadian Tire carries these but be sure to double check the size before you buy as they also carry 2 inch "mini-pucks" and 3 inch pucks. I've broken up a larger one when I didn't have the 1 inch but you really want to handle them carefully and as little as possible.

Q: Is it okay for this pool to be set up on cement.

A: Hi JJR3, Almost any completely flat, solid and level surface can be used. Do not use sand as leveling material as it is prone to shift under the pool. The ground should be dug out until it is perfectly level. Do not set up on driveways, decks, platforms, gravel or asphalt. The ground should be stable enough to withstand the weight and pressure of the water. Mud, sand, soft/loose ground and tar are not suitable. To avoid abrasions and tears in the liner, it’s recommended to not drag the pool across the surface. If the pool has to be set up on a lawn, it is recommended that the grass is removed from under and around. The grass will die and may cause odors/slime.

Q: Our pool cover does not stay on the pool when there is a bit of wind. We have cinched it as tight as we can but it still comes off. Are there clips and what size works to keep this pool cover on?

A: Mine doesn’t stay on either. We have used the clothe hanger clips for shorts/pants and it works great! We have one for each pool pole. YouTube this trick for a visual but highly recommend this one as you may have these hangers at home already
