Compact, Durable, and Reliable Grill for On-the-Go

I’ve been really impressed with the Coleman Sportster propane grill. It’s the perfect size for portability, whether I’m camping, tailgating, or just wanting something easy to move around the yard. Despite its compact design, it feels very durable and built to last. Assembly was quick and straightforward, which I really appreciated since I didn’t have to spend much time putting it together. Cleaning has also been simple—the design makes it easy to wipe down and keep in good shape after use. What surprised me most is how well it handles temperature control. It heats up quickly and stays consistent, making it easy to cook everything from burgers to veggies without burning or undercooking. Overall, it’s a dependable little grill that’s easy to take anywhere without sacrificing quality.

The Coleman Sportster Propane Grill is fantastic! This grill is easy to set up. It is super portable, which is perfect for camping trips or grilling on a small patio. The temperature control is excellent, which enables cooking everything from quick burgers to slower-cooked chicken evenly. Also, cleanup is simpler than expected. This grill is great for quick, delicious outdoor meals

Compact, but poor temperature control

We got this last year for hurricane season to is on our porch. Unfortunately, the regulator never worked properly and is always on high. That seems to be a common issue with these models and there does not seem to be a replacement available.. For the amount of money this small grill cost, I would expect more from Coleman.

We recoomnend to adjust the Flow Control Knob, sometimes, the flow control knob might be too tight, restricting gas flow. Slightly release the knob to allow sufficient propane flow from the tank. Unfortunately, this product cannot be used with this hose. Also, the design of the stove's manifold is not suitable for natural gas use and can result in sub-standard performance and safety issues.

Q: How long does a 465g propane tank last? Can it hook up to a standard size tank? Wondering whether or not this would be sufficient as a primary BBQ in a building where only smaller/portable BBQs are permitted.

A: Hello! Thank you for your question. Please be advised that this grill can last up to 2 hours on high on one 16.4-ounce propane cylinder (sold separately). You can also connect it to a 20-pound propane tank, but you'll need to use an adaptor like a high-pressure 5-foot propane gas hose.

Q: Hello, I can no longer insert propane tanks because the value that I screw them into is stripped. How can this be fixed. The bbq is a couple years old but I only used it a handful of times. Any advice ?
