Road trip 225 BBQ - I do not recommend

Purchased in May 2023. Used approx 30 times, for 1 trip last June/July 2023. Ever did like that it’s hard to ignite as you can’t even see the flame when/ if it starts and the slightest breeze and flames gone! Went camping on Monday July 8, 2024 for 3 days. Could not get it to light at all with the auto striker. Had to go buy one of those fire long lighters. Finally got it going, but had to baby it along and shelter it all around from the slight breeze that was present. Went to Web site to fill out warranty form. Form asks for State / Province and Zip / Postal Code. Well you put this info in and there is nothing shown for Canada at all anywhere it is only states listed!!! Why ask for it if you can’t deliver!

It’s a piece of garbage!

Why is this called a “roadtrip” grill? There’s no way to move it in or out of a car or truck. No case you can purchase to carry it around. Just say it’s a grill to keep on a small table on your apartment patio and hope your neighbors don’t report you. It’s no good for tailgating, the beach, or anywhere you travel to.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Nice small grill

The grill is just the right size when cooking for two. I like the two burners. What’s different is the need for water to use the grill. I didn’t experience any flare ups while cooking, however getting rid of the water is a pain when you’re at a campground since it has grease in it.

Q: Where do u hook up 1lb tank too

2 Answers
  • A: The unit comes with a small tube adaptor that connects to the unit and has a 1 pound propane tank connecter on it. It reaches around the side so that you lay the propane tank on the table or counter that the grill is on, or it hangs if it’s just on a pedestal, also highly recommend a 5 foot adaptor hose from Canadian tire or Amazon so that you can connect it to a QCC1 on a 20 pound propane tank

Q: 1. Can you cook with the lid down? 2.  I know it doesn't look like it has legs, but in the picture it shows little legs.  When packing in a trailer this is important.  Do they fold up or in? Thanks
