J'ai acheté ce produit il y a un an. Toujours prendre les bruleurs du centre pour la haute température. Cela évitera de déformer la plaque. Bien entretenir comme le manuel l'indique. Pas de problème de rouille et rien ne colle. Je suis très satisfait mais j'aimerais mieux avec un couvert. La graisse a tendance à couler à côté c'est pour cela que j'ai enlevé une étoile. J'ai fini avec les BBQ traditionnels. Une plaque est tellement plus versatile et meilleur goût pour moi.

Worst purchase I have ever made.

This griddle we bought and have never used, solid rust and not safe to use..big waste of money,and nothing we can do to fix the problem. If they would sell a stainless steel or ceramic top to replace the rusted one, that would be great, but unfortunately they do not. So off to the trash it goes after trying for almost two years to make it useable, no luck.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: I just purchased this Griddle. what is the sticky residue on the grill top? Once i peeled the plastic off there is a very stick residue left behind? should i be burning this off? or cleaning with soap and water?

A: Soap and water then burn off buy adding oil to prepare the grill. Good to have a metal scraper to scrape surface. You add oil burn off and scrape repeating about four or five times until surface is prepared. Then enjoy the best steaks.

Q: The surface of my griddle has been solid rust from day one. Rolled steel. So I am wondering if I can buy a new top in stainless steel. We have never cooked anything on it. I hate to trash it without trying to replace the cooking surface.

A: It is important to season it first with vegetable oil . And regular doses with same after every use. As well, try to cover it and keep dry when not in use.

A: 35” x 17” cooking surface. In my opinion this has been one of the best outdoor cooking grill purchases that I’ve made. I use it all the time! FYI…seasoning of the grill is very important part of the process before using.

A: In my experience it may rust on areas that were not fully seasoned like the edges. So wipe it in the spring and repeat the seasoning process several times.

A: Une fois terminer votre cuisson , la plaque chaude lui jetter de l'eau température ambiante et la scrapper avec grattoir. Le faire autant que la plaque n'est pas vraiment lisse . Fermer votre feu et attendre que la plaque refroidisse et mettre une couche d'huile végétale avec un essuie tout a la grandeur de la plaque . A: Thank you for your question. The Coleman Cookout Griddle is sold as propane only and cannot be converted to Natural Gas. Only barbecue’s bearing the Convertible Valve System logo on the front of the barbecue’s control panel, are convertible from propane to natural gas.
