Great bbq for the money! 3 burners so lots of cooking space. My last BBQ was the same, I loved it so much that I bought it again. I hate stainless steel bbq's and it's hard to find one that isn't made of stainless steel. This bbq is easy to keep clean. The shelves etc are very durable and have a durable coating on them. Also easy to purchase parts from Coleman Canada if needed. You won't be disappointed!

I bouth this BBQ less than 2 years ago thinking Coalman was a good brand, Very bad performanc and started to rust after 1 year and stained my patio floor. Burners had only 1 hot spot that I couldn't even cook a hot dog. I complained to the company four times and they did not care, Waist of money even if it is on sale.

Heating issue: It sounds like you may have activated the flow limiting device in your grill’s regulator. To correct this issue, please visit your user manual (page 4) to perform a regulator reset. If this does not correct the issue, please perform a leak test (page 5).
To avoid activating this safety feature going forward, always perform the correct lighting and shut down procedures. Most importantly, open your LP cylinder shut off valve SLOWLY before starting your BBQ. If you turn the LP cylinder valve too quickly, the flow limiting feature in the regulator can sometimes think there is a leak in the fuel line and restrict the amount of fuel to the burner as a safety precaution.
As a friendly reminder, and to get the most longevity possible from your grill, please follow the steps in the care, maintenance and storage section of your user manual. Maintenance and performance go hand-in-hand. If you take responsibility for maintaining your barbecue, it will perform for years to come. A: I would assume one year! I use the BBQ all year. It is exposed to extreme winter weather & works! I purchased it because I have other Coleman appliances that are >30 years old and still work!

Q: how do you clean the top of the heat shield?

A: Thank you so much for reaching out. When you mention the heat shield, do you mean the heat plates that cover the burners? If so, here are the care instructions: Caring for the Heat Plates: 1. Remove heat plates. 2. Holding your heat plate over a large garbage receptacle, use a grill brush to remove debris. 3. Clean away all remaining debris with mild soap and warm water. 4. Dry thoroughly. 5. Re-install. Please Note: Using a metal scraper to clean heat plates can cause damage to the porcelain coating. Use a soft bristle grill brush for step 2.
