We brought this product because we do a lot of camping and atving with our kids. This has worked extremely well for calling our kids in, plus we no longer have to worry while their out. I totally recommend this product!! It's extremely easy to use and is very durable.

Q: Does it have a port for a Headset/mic and speaker? I wanted to get this for airsoft, but I'm unsure if you can plug-in a headset or microphone and speaker to it.

Q: Will they work if hiking in uneven terain??

A: The Cobra radios should perform quite well while hiking and we recommend that as a great use for this product! Although maximum range will only be obtained in an environment where there is nothing to interrupt the signal (imagine communicating from the top of one mountain to another). Obstacles, different elevations as well as forest landscapes can cause range loss among many environmental factors, however for the use of hiking at not a huge distance from one another, signals should be able to penetrate well.
